従軍慰安婦問題への対処要請＝国連人権理の対日審査で−北朝鮮など （時事ドットコム - 2008/05/10）

【ジュネーブ９日時事】国連人権理事会は９日、日本の人権保護状況を検証する作業部会を開いた。会合では、北朝鮮、韓国、フランス、オランダが旧日本軍による戦時中の従軍慰安婦の問題を提起し、日本政府に誠実な対応を求めた。
これに対し日本政府は、「女性のためのアジア平和国民基金」（アジア女性基金、２００７年に解散）を通じて元慰安婦への支援を行ったことなどを説明、理解を求めた。

賠償請求を前提とした、これまでの対日毀損の経緯から、南北朝鮮、およびオランダについては、こうした動きに執拗に出てくるであろう事は拝察に難くない。だが、フランスまでがこれに加わったとなれば異様である。欧州における、特定国の絶えざる対日毀損のキャンペーンの“成果”と指摘すべきか。何ら、これといった対応を示してこなかった外務省の“成果”と謂うべきか。

どうやら、この御仁、今回の日本に対する審査で、フランス、インドネシア、ジプチがどのような立場なのかすらご存知ないらしい。知らないことは知らないと言えばいいのに、よりにもよって陰謀論を展開するとは情けない。また、日本代表がこの場で「慰安婦」問題に関する各国からの質問にどう答えたのかも、多分、きっと、ご存知ではないだろう*2。

We have received from some delegates about so-called comfort women.
In August 1993, the Japanese government released a statement by the Chief Cabinet Secretary, which recognized the issue of comfort women to have severely injured the honor and dignity of many women. In the statement, thereupon, the Government of Japan extended apologies and remorse. This is the consistent and basic position of our government.
Our government has been dealing with the issue of reparation, property, and claims concerning the Second World War, including the issue of comfort women, in good-faith pursuance to San Francisco Peace Treaty, bilateral treaties, other relevant treaties, agreements, and instruments. In this way, such issues concerning the war, including the issue of comfort women, have been settled with the countries and parties to these treaties.
In accordance with such position, the Government of Japan, together with the people of Japan, seriously discussed what could be done about this issue, and exactly in maximum effort for the project of Asian Woman's Fund established in 1995 to facilitate xxxx remedies for the former comfort women who had reached advanced ages by such means as contributing 4.8 billion yen from the national budget through to the time the fund was dissolved in March last year. The Japanese Government delivered the letter of Prime Minister to the former comfort women through the Asian Women's Fund.
Our government will continue its effort to promote understanding of the sympathy of the Japanese people represented by the activities of the Asian Woman's Fund, succeeding the purpose of the fund.
The Japanese Government will actively cooperate in activities for caring the former comfort women. We are also ready to continue to have a dialogue with each Treaty Body on this issue.

　・　河野談話で謝罪とお詫びをしたし・・・
　・慰安婦問題を含めて第二次世界大戦に関する賠償、所有権請求、損害賠償請求はサンフランシスコ平和条約などで解決済みだし・・・
　・なのに、政府は4.8億円も出して、アジア女性基金を援助して、元慰安婦によくしてやったし・・・
　・そのうえ、総理大臣の手紙まで元慰安婦に届けてやったし・・・
　・日本国民は元慰安婦に同情してるのに、ブツブツ言いやがって・・・
　・まぁ、文句があるなら、話くらいは聞いてやる。

日本代表の発言も独り言に近いものだと思う。いつまで同じ戯言*3を繰り返すつもりだろう？
