安倍「居座り」新内閣に対する海外の反応

ざっと通して読みましたが、あんまり芳しくないですね。参院選大敗後に党内からも退陣要求が噴出したわけですが、各派閥の首領を大臣ポストに据えて批判をかわそうと狙いじゃないのかと言われています。国内ではワイドショー用の目玉になった桝添氏の厚生労働大臣起用は重要視されていません。
それよりも、小泉首相時代に、中国との関係が決定的に悪化したときの外務大臣であった町村氏を、再び同じポストに据えたことに対する警戒感が（特にアジアの国々で）大きく、高村氏の防衛大臣就任と合わせて、より右傾化し、より親米的（親ブッシュ*1的）な方向に振れるのではと危惧しているようにさえ思えます。
いずれにせよ、この内閣で不祥事が出たら安倍新内閣はアウトなわけで、国内に山積する問題の舵取りを一つでも誤ったり、外交政策で他国の不評を買えば（9月のAPECとか危なそうですが）、国内の支持率は上がらず、国際的な評価も得られません。そこで安倍首相が暴走・自爆*2するのを止められなければ、日本はさらに窮地に追い込まれていく可能性もあります。
勝手に暴走・自爆して、国民を巻き添えにしないでいただきたい。「安倍はイラナイ子」ってことで国民の審判はすでに出ているわけですから、そこのとこ分かれよな。

The Cabinet reshuffle gave Abe no chance to make mistakes again. If any minister was associated with scandals again or government bills fail to pass the parliament in time, Abe's leadership would again be challenged and the voice calling for his resignation could be even louder.
内閣改造しても、安倍首相はもう間違いをおかすことはできない。大臣の不祥事が新たに取りざたされたり、政府提案の法案が会期内に議会で可決されない場合、安倍首相の指導力が再び問題になり、辞職を求める声はさらに大きくなるだろう。

"You see, they have not been able to recover from the shocking defeat that they had faced, and they think that if there is an election tomorrow they will face another humiliating defeat, and so therefore I think they are in very bad shape and they are not prepared to face an election immediately," Gyalpo said.

Handing heavyweight portfolios to veteran lawmakers will likely dampen criticism of Abe within his Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), but the choices will do little to reassure those seeking signs that Abe will forcefully tackle Japan's huge debt and deregulate the economy, analysts said.
"Is there anything here that can inspire the people, foreign investors or the business leadership? It doesn't really look that way," said Jesper Koll, president of investment advisory firm Tantallon Research Japan.
"It's playing it safe, but it's playing the same song again."
閣僚経験者に重要な閣僚ポストを与えれば、自民党内にある安倍首相への批判を弱めることはできるのであろうが、安倍首相が日本の膨大な債務に全力で取り組むんだり経済の規制緩和を行ったりする兆しを求めている人々の警戒感は取り除けない。と、アナリストたちは述べている。

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has picked veteran lawmakers for key posts in a new cabinet line-up to be unveiled on Monday, media said, to try to revive faltering support after a massive election defeat.

小泉純一郎前首相の下でも外相を務めた町村氏はこの日、安倍晋三首相が行った内閣改造で再び外相に任命された。
町村外相はかつて、靖国神社参拝を積極的に支持し、また南京大虐殺について異議を挟むなど、日本史を歪曲（わいきょく）する発言で物議を醸してきた。

また町村外相は、安倍首相が靖国参拝であいまいな立場を表している点に関し、「安倍首相の考えも小泉前首相とある意味同じではないか」とし、「ひとつの適切な知恵として評価している」と語った。
対北朝鮮問題については「北朝鮮による日本人拉致問題に進展が見られれば経済支援とエネルギー支援分野でいっそう積極的な役割を果たすことが可能」とし、「拉致問題で進展がなければ支援しない」という政府の従来の立場と変わらないことを再確認した。

Machimura, 62, served as Foreign minister between 2004 and 2005 under former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.His tenure was marked by a diplomatic crisis with China, where anti-Japanese protests broke out amid Tokyo`s failed bid to win a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
Machimura heads the most powerful faction in the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), which suffered a major election defeat last month.
His appointment to a powerful position would likely be aimed at ensuring his faction`s support for Abe, who has faced calls from backbench lawmakers to resign.

Both Machimura and Komura should fit easily with Abe's right-leaning, pro-US government: Under Koizumi, Machimura pushed to phase out development aid to China, while Komura supports a hard-line against North Korea.
"The US-Japan relationship remains the cornerstone of our foreign policy," Machimura said after his appointment.
He added he would work to extend Japan's mission to refuel coalition warships in the Indian Ocean to support US-led efforts in Afghanistan.
Machimura also vowed to pressure North Korea to come clean on its abduction of Japanese nationals in the 1970s and 1980s.
